Job summary

Pebble Recruitment Ltd is seeking an ambitious Consultant Ecologist to join our Birmingham office. The position involves undertaking protected species surveys, producing complex technical reports, and managing medium to large projects with financial oversight.

Hybrid or remote working is available. Requirements include a degree in Ecology or Environmental Management, at least 3 years of industry experience, a UK driving licence, and ideally a protected species licence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 protected species licence (preferred).
• Hold a full UK driving license.
• Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and its application.
• CIEEM membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking protected species surveys
• Building tenders and creating complex fee quotations
• Producing complex technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, Habitat Management Plans, BREEAM reports, HRAs and EcIAs)
• Managing medium to large-sized projects with financial oversight
