Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an Ecologist to join its Cambridge team on a permanent basis. You will undertake protected species and habitat surveys across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects in the UK.

You will produce ecological reports and management plans, support biodiversity net gain assessments, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining strong client liaison. Applicants should have a degree in Ecology, consultancy experience, knowledge of UK wildlife

Qualifications

• Degree in Ecology or a related discipline.
• Consultancy or relevant ecological survey experience.
• Good knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and survey methodologies.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
