Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to join the Cardiology team. The role covers two sites and includes standard transthoracic and advanced echocardiography techniques, with opportunities for in-house training of junior physiologists.

The successful candidate should hold BSE accreditation; clinical skills in rhythm management or PCI are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• BSE accreditation required or holdable.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about patient-centred care.
• Motivated to provide in-house training for junior physiologists.
• Clinical skills in rhythm management or PCI are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide echocardiography services across two sites, including transthoracic, 3D, bubble/contrast, and stress echo.
• Support and train junior physiologists in cardiology imaging.
• Work on a full-time basis with weekend rota and potential for part-time arrangements.
