Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset is seeking a Highly Specialised Cardiac Echocardiographer (Band 7) to join the Cardiac Physiology team at Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospital. Qualifications

• BSE accreditation or equivalent is essential.
• BSc in Cardiac Physiology or BTEC HNC, or equivalent, is required.
• RCCP registered is required.
• Full-time role; part-time applicants may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard transthoracic and 3D echocardiography, bubble and contrast studies.
• Support stress echocardiography and transoesophageal echo services as needed.
• Provide in-house training for junior physiologists and mentor staff.
• Maintain and develop high-quality patient-centred care in a specialist echocardiography unit.
