The Duchy Hospital in Harrogate, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Sonographer Echo to join the Imaging department on a bank basis. This is an as-and-when-required role to cover busy periods and staff leave.

You will perform diagnostic ultrasound scans within your competence, maintain accurate patient records, participate in QA activities, and support department workflows while upholding Circle Health Group standards.

Qualificações

• A Diploma in medical ultrasound (DMU) or Post-graduate certificate/diploma (Pg Cert / Dip).
• Experience of autonomous practice and independent reporting is essential.
• Competency to assess, scan, diagnose and report ultrasound caseload with accurate patient records.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a consistent, high-quality ultrasound service to all patients in the Imaging Department.
• Carry out diagnostic ultrasound scans within your scope of competence as agreed with the Imaging Lead.
• Assist modality leads to plan and maintain effective workflow within the department.
• Complete and maintain departmental records including timely patient charges.
• Participate in quality assurance tests within Imaging and contribute to peer review.
• Report equipment faults to the manager and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Comply with imaging department policies, SOPs and mandatory training.
