Job description

Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Deal Governance Manager based in London, who will work closely with Ricoh's global team to align existing business processes. The role involves creating, reviewing, and embedding processes within the team, championing adherence, and providing hands-on support for larger, complex deals. The focus is on maximizing deal profitability and leveraging strategic alliances for optimal discounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with the Head of GMA Bid & Commercial Function to develop and implement processes such as Bid Qualification, Tollgate, Third Party Pricing, Contract Negotiation, and Approval.
  2. Ensure clear ownership and effective embedding of these processes across global opportunities, with strong communication across teams.
  3. Maintain comprehensive understanding of global processes to ensure adherence and minimize overlap.
  4. Lead the team to manage all deals in the final stages, including documentation, reporting, and post-deal activities, especially for complex deals.
  5. Support contract negotiations to ensure terms support profitability, compliance, and delivery capabilities.
  6. Oversee deal execution, ensuring compliance with terms and policies.
  7. Assist bid teams with non-standard commercial requests and make key decisions during bidding phases.
  8. Lead and develop a new team, including recruitment, training, and remote management.
  9. Drive profitable growth through deal registration and strategic pricing across global opportunities.
  10. Collaborate with Partner Alliances to align on vendor strategies and pricing models, providing customer-facing data.
  11. Maintain effective stakeholder communication and produce reports for European and Global leadership, covering timelines, compliance, and risk management.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in business administration or legal subjects.
  • Proven experience in deal governance, contract management, or similar roles within a commercial environment. Pricing experience is advantageous.
  • Previous line management experience, especially in establishing new roles within large organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with tools like SharePoint, Teams, Qvidian, and tender management software such as Ariba.
  • Understanding of deal governance principles, analytical skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
