Ricoh is currently recruiting for a Deal Governance Manager based in London. The role involves working closely with Ricoh’s global team to align with existing business processes, ensuring they are created, reviewed, and embedded effectively. The manager will champion adherence to these processes, support larger, complex deals, and lead the Pricing and Commercial Coordination roles.

This role also focuses on maximizing profitability and price optimization of deals, leveraging strategic alliances for the best discounts.

What you will be doing
  1. Lead the creation and launch of processes such as Bid Qualification, Tollgate, Third Party Pricing, Contract Negotiation, and Approval, in collaboration with the Head of GMA Bid & Commercial Function.
  2. Ensure clear ownership and effective embedding of these processes across global opportunities, facilitating communication and adherence across teams.
  3. Understand global processes comprehensively to ensure compliance and minimize overlap.
  4. Manage the final stages of deals, including documentation, reporting, and post-deal activities, providing support for complex opportunities.
  5. Support contract negotiations to ensure terms support profitability, compliance, and deliverability.
  6. Oversee deal execution, ensuring adherence to terms, policies, and procedures.
  7. Assist bid teams with non-standard commercial requests and support key decisions during the bid phase.
  8. Lead and develop a team, including recruitment and training, potentially managing remotely.
  9. Drive profitable growth through deal registration and access to discounted pricing globally.
  10. Collaborate with Partner Alliances to optimize vendor partnership strategies and pricing models.
  11. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and produce reports for executive levels, covering timelines, compliance, and risks.
Ideal candidate profile
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in business administration, legal, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in deal governance, contract management, or similar roles within a commercial setting. Experience with pricing is advantageous.
  • Previous line management experience, especially setting up new roles in large organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, and tender management software like Ariba.
  • Understanding of deal governance principles, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
