Job description

Job Title: Intermediate Project Manager

An exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Project Manager with experience in setting up temporary and permanent exhibitions, galleries, etc., for museums, art galleries, and similar projects both in the UK and abroad.

Location and Travel

The role is primarily based from our London SE1 office, with occasional overseas and UK travel required.

Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with clients, architects, and subcontractors as needed.
  2. Manage projects valued from approximately £2m to £35m.
  3. Oversee projects currently located in the UK, USA, and Middle East.
Company Overview

Our client is a small consultancy specializing in the setup and fit-out of projects for art galleries, museums, and exhibitions.

Candidate Profile
  1. Experience working for art galleries, museums, exhibition centers, construction consultants, fit-out contractors, or similar sectors.
  2. At least one project in a related sector with 2-3 years of project management experience.
  3. Qualifications in construction, surveying, art, history of art, or related fields are preferred.
  4. Experience with Microsoft Project is advantageous.
  5. Willingness to undertake short-term overseas travel for meetings and site visits.
  6. Excellent written and spoken English; confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary ranges from £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, with additional benefits such as pension and PHI. The role offers excellent prospects for promotion within a growing firm with a distinguished client list.
