Job Description:

Location: Hybrid working, travel to Head office 3/4 times a week - Must live North of Birmingham

We are currently working with a great Leisure-first business that provides Hospitality & Leisure venues across the UK with strong food concepts attached. They offer a great leisure experience in the UK – with the UK tourist business booming, this company is in a strong growth position. They are looking for a new Commercial Director, responsible for ROI across the portfolio, risk management, finding new commercial opportunities, working with sponsors and partnerships. A key focus is on leadership and coaching skills, with a strong sales and marketing background being essential.

The Director of Commercial

This role reports directly to the CEO, developing the brand and working with partners to develop their brands. The Director will lead in hiring during this growth phase, managing onsite and offsite promotion, annual calendar, full-cycle marketing, and managing partnerships and concept launches. You, the CEO, and CFO will form the founding executive team responsible for strategy and growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic oversight of the operated business and affiliated brands;
  • End-to-end oversight of venue relaunch and opening;
  • Management of all operational teams onsite and offsite;
  • Oversight of the core business;
  • Management of all promotions involving external partner businesses;
  • Responsibility for branding of new concepts created by the marketing team;
  • Integration with delivery aggregator marketing plans;
  • Assistance with fundraising and Board management alongside CEO & CFO;
  • Contribute to company strategy;
  • Innovative thinking for company evolution, motivated by building a large enterprise;
  • Analyze market research and data for business planning;
  • Work diligently, make decisions quickly, and find order in chaos.
