Job Title: Electrical Technician

Location: Manchester International Depot

Contract Type: 13-Week Contract (Start Date: 26th May)

Working Hours: Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 50 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: £30 per hour, paid via LTD company and outside IR35

Ganymede Solutions is working with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies to recruit an Electrical Technician for their digital equipment modifications at Manchester International Depot. Ganymede Solutions is an AIM-listed recruitment agency specializing in transportation, infrastructure, construction, and engineering sectors.

You will be involved in a multi-million-pound digitalisation upgrade project, helping modify digital equipment and facilities for the fleet of a leading UK TOC.

The Role:

As an Electrical Technician, your responsibilities will include electrical installations and testing related to digital modifications. This includes Wi-Fi installations, Ethernet backbone setups, NVR/CCTV systems, passenger information systems, USB sockets, and drivers' cab upgrades.

Requirements:

• Minimum C&G/NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification
• At least 3 years of rolling stock experience
• Effective communication skills to ensure high standards and timely completion of tasks

• Availability to start between 26th May and 2nd June
• Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol test and a comprehensive railway medical examination
• Provision of Right to Work documents prior to deployment
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist
