Job summary

CVS Vets 24/7 Chester is seeking a veterinary surgeon to join our experienced ECC team. This permanent, part-time role offers exposure to emergency and critical care with a supportive multidisciplinary team and on-call back-up.

You’ll work 1 in 4 weekends daytime shifts, deliver high-quality patient care, and develop your clinical skills within a collaborative environment that values professional growth and continuity of care for our small animal patients.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of small animal experience.
• Good medical and surgical foundations.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.

We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our friendly and experienced team at CVS Vets 24/7 Chester.

CVS Vets 24/7 Chester is a dedicated small animal emergency and out-of-hours service, providing exceptional care when pets need it most.

Based within Chestergates Veterinary Specialists, an RCVS-approved referral hospital, you'll work in a modern, fully equipped environment with access to advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities. This unique setting offers exposure to a diverse and rewarding caseload, combining the pace and variety of ECC work with the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Our service provides 24-hour care for patients from our first opinion member practices, including the management of hospitalised veterinary inpatients. You'll have the opportunity to develop your emergency and critical care expertise while working alongside highly skilled colleagues and benefiting from access to on-call referral clinicians for additional support when required.
