Chestergates Veterinary Specialists is seeking an ECC Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term contract, 20 hours per week (Monday and Tuesday). The role focuses on teaching, mentoring and team development with opportunities to stay involved in clinical cases.

You will work across Chestergates and CVS Vets 24/7 Chester, supporting a busy referral and emergency service, sharing knowledge, and helping vets and nurses grow confidence while maintaining direct clinical involvement where

Chestergates Veterinary Specialists & CVS Vets 24/7 Chester

Are you an ECC Specialist who enjoys developing people as much as treating patients?

We're offering a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic, approachable ECC Specialist to join our team in a role focused primarily on teaching, mentoring and team development, with opportunities for clinical case involvement. This will be on a fixed term contract working 20 hours a week on a Monday and Tuesday.

You'll work across two exciting environments within the same building:

• Chestergates Veterinary Specialists – a multidisciplinary, specialist-led referral hospital.
• CVS Vets 24/7 Chester – a busy emergency and out-of-hours service supporting 45 member practices and approximately 120 FTE vets. Patients are kept on site until discharge.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about sharing knowledge, building clinical confidence, and supporting the development of both vets and nurses across referral and primary care.

Most importantly, we're looking for a great team player. Someone with excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to adapt their expertise to different teams and learning needs.
