We are recruiting for our busy Aberdeen dry dock and fabrication facility.

HSEQ Advisor

This position may suit someone who has recently achieved their NEBOSH (National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety) and is seeking experience and development in a HSEQ Advisor role. A background in ship repair, welding/fabrication, or engineering is preferred but not essential.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Qualifications: NEBOSH (National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety); NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate is preferred.
• Experience: Engineering, Fabrication, or related industry experience is preferred but not essential.
• Site safety inductions.
• Contractor site inductions and verification of relevant paperwork.
• Assistance with issuing permits to employees and contractors.
• Daily on-site safety inspections.
• Review of PTWs, RAs, and Method Statements for proper writing, coordination, and implementation.
• Preparation of job-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements, ensuring all employees are trained on their use.
• Investigation and recording of incidents and accidents.
• Implementation of safety training and maintenance of the training matrix.
• Inspection of plant and machinery insurance.
• Upkeep of lifting equipment and safety harnesses.
• Participation in internal and external audits.
• Implementation of monthly safety initiatives.
• Maintenance of relevant safety systems.
• Other duties and administrative tasks as directed by your line manager.
