- Experience working with Telephony based Projects (Avaya Red/Blue)
- Knowledge of PM Methodologies, Prince2, Agile, and APMP
- Previously managed large-scale projects including full P&L responsibility
- Ideally used Salesforce before
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- First-rate organisation skills
As part of the role, you’ll be required to support the sales team with bids for work, deliver a high standard of service to customers, and maintain your learning concerning project management best practices and my client's suite of solutions.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, track, and manage multiple concurrent projects and programs to successful completion
- Plan, Organise, and Communicate:
- Develop and manage project timelines to schedule
- Proactively anticipate impacts of current and future project phases
- Translate project plans into business-speak ensuring clear communication
- Risk, Issue, and Dependency Management:
- Anticipate risks and issues; use problem-solving and collaboration skills for proactive corrective actions
- Work with parties to identify dependencies bringing risk to the project
- Communicate risks and issues clearly to stakeholders at all levels
- Prepare detailed project plans for all phases of the project
- Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives within planned timeframes
- Manage day-to-day project activities and resources
- Lead the project team through effective planning, organisation, and communication
- Ensure projects and programs proceed according to scope
- Provide status reports on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, and communicate across leadership
- Build trusted relationships within projects
- Work creatively and analytically in problem-solving scenarios, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
- Drive continuous improvement of behaviours, templates, processes, and best practices based on lessons learned
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team members
- Deliver effective executive-level communication
Skills & Experience
- Project management and related experience
- Relevant industry experience
- Project Management qualifications
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience overseeing technical projects through the full lifecycle
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal, and presentation), and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
