Mobile Electrical Engineer

Location: East Midlands, covering Nottingham, Derby, and Leicester mainly

Salary: Up to £40,000

Additional Benefits: Callout rota of 1 in 6, up to £3,000 possible bonuses per annum, company vehicle with personal use, fuel card, private healthcare, annual profit share, and bonuses.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a proven track record of excellence to join our team and contribute to the maintenance of prestigious blue-chip clients' buildings around the East Midlands.

Job Description

A Mobile Multi-skilled Building Services Engineer with electrical or mechanical (HVAC) qualifications at a recognized level (City & Guilds). Responsibilities include undertaking scheduled planned maintenance and reactive tasks in and around assigned sites, identifying repairs, and submitting quotations for remedial work as needed. A company van, mobile phone, tablet, and uniform will be provided.

Location

Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, and surrounding areas. Sites will be allocated based on location, but candidates must be willing to travel within the region when required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance within assigned buildings by the scheduled attendance dates.
2. Update legal compliance documentation via a provided tablet to a high standard.
3. Work reasonable overtime as necessary to meet contractual obligations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC plant & equipment.
• Extensive experience in the general building services industry.
• Relevant qualifications such as emergency light testing, L8 awareness, plumbing repairs, etc.
• Recognized qualification in at least one maintenance/engineering discipline.

Working Hours

• Full-time: Monday to Friday.
• Participation in an on-call rota (1 in 9).
• £100 paid on top of overtime for each call-out.
• Up to £3,000 bonuses per year if targets are met.

• 2391 testing qualification.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Full valid driving license.
