We are recruiting for a Recovery Resettlement Practitioner (Housing Specialism) in Southend on Sea.
This is a part-time role for 17.5 hours per week. We offer flexible working arrangements. Some travel around the local area may be required, and a full UK driving licence and use of a car would be advantageous.
The Recovery Housing support worker role sits within the Recovery Directorate and forms part of the Recovery Operations Team, utilizing all available resources. This post will support Forward Trust service users residing in supported housing units who are in abstinence-based recovery and committed to a recovery pathway.
The role focuses on a person-centered approach, enabling service users to sustain and maintain their recovery and reach their full potential. We work in partnership with many agencies to offer holistic and multidisciplinary services tailored to individual needs.
The Recovery Housing role is multi-skilled, providing support and interventions across various complexity levels and working across Forward Trust services to adapt to changing demands.
Formal line management support will be provided quarterly, with regular and open dialogue with your manager between sessions for clarification.
You will be responsible for meeting targets set by Forward Trust and your line management. Cooperative working relationships with partner agencies and internal staff are vital.
Some flexibility is required to support out-of-office hours to ensure continuous service delivery.
