The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at Queen's University Belfast (QUB) is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Natural Language Processing.

The successful applicant will contribute to our research agenda and help establish QUB as a leader in Natural Language Processing research and its applications.

The post holder is expected to develop an independent, world-class research program, engage with innovation programs like the Belfast Region City Deal (BRCD), and enhance student experience through research-led teaching. They will also participate in administrative, outreach, and citizenship activities.

About the Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
  2. A strong record of research and publications in Natural Language Processing.
  3. Evidence of independent research contributions and potential to establish a sustainable research program.
  4. Experience in national and international research collaborations.
  5. Teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including assessment and industrial training activities.
