Role & Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and fault find on plant and machinery using various maintenance disciplines.
• Contribute toward machine efficiency and development programmes using existing maintenance programmes and CI methodologies including 5 why analysis.
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections and identify and implement action plans to prevent reoccurring faults.
• Conduct risk assessments and equipment isolation procedures.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a maintenance technician in a busy, high-volume manufacturing environment, with a recognised apprenticeship and ideally an HNC level of education.
• Mechanical bias with experience in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
• Experience in fault finding and repairs in Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, servicing and repairing gearboxes and large mechanical equipment, and workshop skills including welding, fabrication, and use of workshop equipment such as lathe, milling machine, and pillar drill. Good understanding of fault finding on PLCs including GEM80, Allen Bradley, or Siemens S7.
