Telephony Sales Consultant – Individual Protection

Salary circa £30,000 (dependent on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)

A bit about the job:

We are currently recruiting for a Telephony Sales Consultant to join the Sales and Distribution team at Aviva. The successful candidate will consistently achieve an agreed level of activity per day via telephone sales. You will also have your own panel of financial advisers, whom you will proactively contact, to showcase the Aviva Protection propositions by demonstrating the distinct and complimentary benefits of what we offer to our advisers to maximize sales opportunities.

You could be based in our Bristol or Sheffield office, with the option for smart working.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong telephony and communication skills, with the ability to influence effectively.
  • Demonstrated capability to excel in dynamic environments and meet set targets.
  • Passionate about delivering Aviva’s protection message, focusing on developing relationships with the customers.
  • Experience in insurance or similar customer-focused sales roles is a plus.
  • A dedication to professional exams. The role has a minimum requirement of R01 & R05 or equivalent qualifications. If not held, this is to be achieved within the first 12 months of role.

  • Starting salary circa £30,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
