About The Job

Let's Play is seeking an individual to deliver sports activities as part of our Fun Week programme during school holidays at Winchester Leisure Centre, Winchester. The role involves delivering a variety of sports activities to a high standard, catering for children aged 5 to 12 of mixed abilities.

The daily programme will include activities from our schedule aimed at positively impacting young children. These sessions include: Multi-Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Bouncy Castle, Team Games, Esports, Lego Building, and Arts & Crafts.

Essential Requirements

• Interest and passion for working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children.
• Experience working at children’s holiday camps and/or childcare settings.
• Willingness to develop skills and practice.
• Punctuality, reliability, and commitment.
• Experience delivering activities to primary-aged children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact well with staff, parents/carers, and children.

Preferred Requirements

• Clean UK driver’s license.
• Experience or willingness to deliver activities such as Arts & Crafts and Multi-Sports during Fun Week.
• Completed relevant courses at Sixth Form, College, or University.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate your team to deliver high-standard programmes.
• Liaise regularly with parents/carers, staff, and directors.
• Ensure sessions are challenging, realistic, and fun for children.
• Create a positive learning environment.
• Deliver coaching programmes consistently to a high standard.
• Follow our coaching philosophy: Fun, Inclusive, & Educational.
• Understand and engage with the individual needs of staff and children.
• Handle first aid/emergency situations appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with parents/carers.
• Deliver each session to the best of your ability with creativity and passion.
