Job description

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Scrum Master with a technical background to join our digital and product transformation team at AXA Health. In this role, you’ll guide and support cross-functional teams in their agile journey, fostering collaboration, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. Your expertise will be crucial in promoting an agile mindset, overcoming challenges, and creating an environment where teams can thrive.

At AXA, we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, transitioning to the majority of your work week from September 2025. 'Away from home' includes attending office locations, visiting clients, or industry events.

We’re also open to flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing:

  • Organise essential meetings for efficient delivery.
  • Use your technical background to understand team challenges and provide input.
  • Establish key KPIs and adopt a data-driven approach for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to foster an agile mindset.
  • Partner with architects and leads to ensure value-driven, quality-focused delivery.
  • Train and mentor development teams on Agile principles and practices.
  • Create a collaborative environment that encourages open dialogue and resolves conflicts.
  • Champion initiatives for continuous improvement to enhance productivity and remove impediments.

Due to high application volume, we reserve the right to close this advert early. If you're interested in joining AXA, please apply promptly.

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience as a Scrum Master following Agile principles.
  • Understanding of software development, with previous technical experience (e.g., developer, architect, or technical analyst) preferred.
  • Experience working in a Salesforce team is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with scaled Agile frameworks like SAFe and LeSS is desirable.
  • Proven success in building Agile teams within large enterprises.
  • Deep knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Ability to facilitate productive sessions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective relationship building.
  • Experience with Agile metrics and KPIs to drive team improvements.

Applicants must be eligible and authorized to work in the UK.

What we offer:

Our rewards package includes:

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Annual performance-based bonus
  • Contributory pension scheme (up to 12%)
  • Life Assurance (up to 10x salary)
  • 28 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
