Position: KS1 Teacher (Y2) - Maternity Cover

Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Salary: £30,000 - £47,000

Simply Education is working with a lovely primary school in Boston, Lincolnshire, seeking to recruit a Year 2 Teacher to cover a maternity leave. The role begins in September and is expected to last for a significant part of the upcoming academic year.

The Year 2 Teacher will be responsible for planning and marking engaging lessons, with support from other KS1 teachers. PPA time will be incorporated into the timetable.

Requirements for the role include:

• A solid understanding of the Year 2 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues on cross-class planning
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and parents
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for teaching

This position is suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
