Job summary

OPA is seeking an EC&I Technician to lead reactive and preventative maintenance for critical EC&I equipment at Gosport OFD. You will cover electrical distribution, motors, drives, switch gear and control instrumentation, ensuring tasks meet stringent UK and European standards.

Based in Gosport, there may be occasional travel to other UK OFDs with overnight stays. A clean UK driving licence and willingness to work overtime when required are essential.

Qualifications

• Reactive and preventative maintenance on EC&I equipment.
• Maintenance of BPCS and instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and UK/European legislation.
• Overtime may be required; UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for reactive and preventative maintenance across EC&I systems and equipment.
• Provide first line maintenance of the BPCS and associated equipment.
• Ensure work is completed on time and in line with standards and legislation.
• Occasional travel to other UK OFDs with potential overnight stays; clean UK driving licence required.
