Job summary

Russell Taylor Group Ltd is seeking an EC&I Technician to perform hands-on maintenance on electrical distribution, motors, drives, switchgear, control systems and instrumentation at a COMAH-regulated site near Portsmouth.

The role includes reactive and preventative maintenance, routine inspections and day-to-day operations support to keep plant running safely and efficiently on site in Portsmouth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance on electrical distribution, motors, drives, switchgear, control systems and instrumentation.
• Experience in COMAH-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line maintenance of the site’s process control system.
• Carry out routine inspections and routine maintenance.
• Support day-to-day operations on a COMAH-regulated site.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) Technician on a permanent basis in Portsmouth. It’s a hands‑on maintenance role at an oil terminal, covering reactive and preventative work on electrical distribution, motors, drives, switchgear, control systems and instrumentation. You’d also provide first line maintenance of the site’s process control system, carry out routine inspections and help with day-to-day operations on a COMAH‑regulated site. It is based near Portsmouth.
