Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced EC&I Projects Lead to plan, coordinate and deliver complex electrical, control and instrumentation initiatives. You will work closely with EC&I engineers to assess scope, maturity, and delivery risks within multi-year programs.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, robust planning and budgeting skills, and experience in regulated or safety-critical settings.

Qualifications

• Requires proven experience in managing complex engineering projects, ideally multi-year and multi-£m.
• Solid understanding of EC&I systems and how Electrical, Control & Instrumentation integrate into wider engineering delivery.
• Experience developing and managing project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Experience in regulated or safety-critical environments (nuclear experience beneficial but not essential).
• Strong stakeholder management, ability to navigate competing priorities and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of EC&I projects or work packages.
• Collaborate with EC&I engineers to understand scope, design maturity and delivery risks.
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks and change with planners and cost engineers.
• Maintain accurate financial forecasts and delivery plans.
• Provide updates on progress, risks and mitigations to the Senior Project Manager.
• Create a collaborative project environment and capture lessons learned.
