Job summary

NSG Environmental Ltd, based in Chorley, is seeking a project support individual to work closely with project managers in delivering tasks that comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Responsibilities include managing project documentation and communicating effectively with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, familiar with the project lifecycle in the Nuclear Industry, particularly focusing on compliance and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the Project lifecycle and how projects are delivered within NSG.
• Basic understanding of the UK Nuclear Industry.
• Used to dealing with confidential and commercial information.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers in the delivery of projects.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for project support.
• Manage project documentation and contributions.
• Ensure compliance with NSG's QSHEW Management System.
• Promote effective communication between disciplines.

Skills

Competent user of MS Office

Ability to communicate with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders

Ability to interpret and evaluate technical data

Ability to prepare and present reports

Organisational and prioritisation skills

Education

Educated to degree level or equivalent in a technical discipline

Membership of appropriate technical/professional body

IOSH Managing Safely or Level 2 Health & Safety
