Job summary

Rullion seeks an EC&I Engineer for a contract-to-permanent role in Hartlepool, County Durham. On-site, 37.5 hours weekly, ASAP start subject to vetting, 12-month duration, pay rate dependent on experience.

The role involves providing engineering and technical services across contracts, interfacing with DNOs and managing stakeholders to ensure compliant electrical installations and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience designing industrial power distribution systems (11kV and 400V).
• Experience in the Power Distribution industry.
• Hands-on engineering oversight for installation, commissioning, modification or maintenance.
• Ability to produce and maintain engineering documentation including quality plans and technical specifications.

Role

This Electrical Engineer will be an embedded resource with our client, providing engineering and technical services to support all aspects of the company’s business and to fulfil specific contracts.

• Fulfil specific contracts as required by the client.
• Manage the interface with the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) and negotiate technical agreements for new connections.
• Exercise stakeholder management skills to engage with internal and external parties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree qualified in a relevant field.
• Experience designing industrial power distribution systems (11kV and 400V).
• Experience working in the Power Distribution industry.
• Practical, hands‑on experience in an engineering oversight role for the delivery of physical electrical systems, including installation, commissioning, modification or maintenance activities.
• Ability to produce and maintain engineering documentation including quality plans and technical specifications.

UK National Security Vetting Status

Ability to gain CTC or higher clearance level.
