As an EC&I Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering assigned project tasks, conducting technical research, and producing high-quality engineering reports. You will interpret design requirements, apply engineering principles, and demonstrate initiative by developing innovative and practical solutions. You will utilise your technical knowledge to develop and interpret engineering drawings, data, and documentation in support of the design, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, fault diagnosis, overhaul, and decommissioning of electrical and data systems within engineering infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of engineering systems, including:
The role requires proficiency in the use of both standard and specialist electrical equipment, machinery, hand tools, measuring instruments, diagnostic equipment, and computer-aided design (CAD) software. You will ensure that all components and assemblies are designed and delivered in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
