Job summary
United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL) seeks an EC&I Design Engineer to join its engineering design team. You will help produce EC&I design deliverables and engineering reports, participate in design reviews, and assist commissioning of new facilities.
The role offers flexible location at Preston or Risley and mentorship from experienced nuclear professionals. Ideal candidates have an HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field, 18th Edition, and the ability to
Qualifications
- Essential: HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Eng, Instrumentation & Control, Eng Design or related.
- 18th Edition (BS7671) knowledge and ability to obtain SC level clearance.
- Understanding of electrical systems and instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Support EC&I design deliverables and engineering reports.
- Participate in design reviews and technical meetings; provide feedback.
- Assist commissioning of new capabilities and facilities.
- Manage time and deliver quality work to agreed timescales.
