East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic EBME technician to maintain and repair medical devices at Ipswich Hospital and local community settings. You will work within the Electro-Medical Engineering Department, performing maintenance, calibration and installations to ensure patient safety and service reliability.

W're looking for a dynamic, motivated and flexible individual to be part of a professional team maintaining and repairing medical devices within East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust based at Ipswich Hospital and the local community.
You must possess an electronic background with medical device technology certification or equivalent training and experience. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative, have good interpersonal skills and a developed ability to communicate well.

You will be required to perform preventative maintenance, repair electromechanical devices, perform installations and calibrate equipment. In addition, you will to keep computerised service logs and report service issues to supervisors to ensure that equipment is maintained in accordance with compliance standards.
You will be required to work in the many areas of the Electro-Medical Engineering Department providing a top quality service to the wards and departments.
