Job description

Housing Repairs Co-ordinator needed in Islington, £17.38ph PAYE - Reference: RQ1504868

We are seeking a Housing Repairs Co-ordinator with knowledge of current issues related to social housing and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose repairs accurately, raise orders on IT systems to contractors, and book appointments.
  2. Work in a contact centre answering high volume calls to meet targets.
  3. Handle phone enquiries professionally, politely, and efficiently, ensuring high standards of customer care, including appropriate greetings and adapting communication methods to customer needs.
  4. Communicate effectively with other departments, agencies, and contractors.
  5. Process service requests accurately, provide advice and information to customers, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements such as the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act.
  6. Proactively work with team members to improve customer service delivery, including conducting outbound calls as needed.
  7. Handle customer complaints according to the complaints procedure and escalate issues to Team Leaders when necessary.

This is a full-time, temporary role.
