About Digital Trading team

The Digital Trading Team delivers digital trading solutions to optimize growth across the Hiscox UK broker partners. This is a specialist team with an exciting digital trading roadmap to deliver. The team is responsible for broker open market extranet and panel products, as well as bespoke digital scheme builds.

The role

You will lead the product design for eTrade builds across the Acturis panels and Hiscox extranets, bringing Hiscox products into digital channels for our brokers. You will work with Product Heads, Underwriting Managers, and Underwriters to understand product requirements and translate these into system designs with the digital trading analyst team. A good working knowledge of Hiscox products and system capabilities, especially Acturis, is essential. You will collaborate with underwriting and wording teams to deliver product requirements suitable for digital platforms, and have opportunities to work with brokers to design and optimize product journeys.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, confident, logical, and interested in digital innovation.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading project teams to define product requirements that are effective for our brokers and aligned with underwriting strategies. Engaging with Product Heads and Underwriting Management across all product lines, involved in specifications, broker engagement, testing, and implementation from conception to delivery.
• Continuously reviewing and optimizing the Hiscox extranets by analyzing customer journeys, utilizing data and broker feedback, and implementing small change improvements.
• Representing our digital trading roadmap to brokers; acting as an Acturis product expert to support opportunities and account management.
• Collaborating with the product governance team to establish a product review cycle for digital trading platforms, including coordinating wording changes for digital platforms.
