Job Opportunity: Senior HR Administrator

We are ambitious, collaborative, and inclusive, and we are excited to offer two opportunities to join our friendly People Team as a Senior HR Administrator.

Position Details:

  • Part-time - 30 or 24 hours per week, all year round, permanent
  • Salary: BTCT Pay Points 7-9. Actual starting salary £20,744 (30 hrs/wk) or £16,595 (24 hrs/wk)

Role Overview:

As a Senior HR Administrator, you will work as part of a supportive team, serving as the first point of contact for HR queries across the Trust. Your responsibilities will include recruitment, onboarding, Safer Recruitment pre-employment checks, employee relations, payroll support, and HR systems improvement.

This role is ideal if you enjoy helping others, seek meaningful, purpose-driven work, and want to make a real difference while developing your HR career.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in an administrative role (HR experience desirable)
  • Knowledge of HR processes, employment law, and Safer Recruitment
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus
  • Strong IT skills (HRIS and Office 365)
  • A collaborative approach, capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • A CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards it); experience in education or the public sector is a plus
