An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to undertake the role of Deputy Bed Manager and senior administrator.
Candidate Requirements:
This service operates 7 days a week, including bank holidays, on a pro-rata basis, covering early, late, and long shifts. A presentation will be required for the interview.

You will be responsible for the efficient management of patient admissions and discharges within the Heart Division wards. Your expertise will support effective patient flow management, liaising with theatre, catheter laboratory schedulers, and external referral hospitals. You will also support and educate ward administration staff in clinical administration and be trained in all aspects of administrative duties.
You will assist the Bed Manager with daily management of the administration team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various subspecialties to ensure sufficient bed availability to meet patient needs.
Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals joined Guy’s and St Thomas’ in February 2021. It is the largest specialist heart and lung centre in the UK and among the largest in Europe.
