About the role as Heating System Design Engineer at Aira

As a crucial part of our brand new team in Scotland, you'll be responsible for designing domestic heat pump systems which are efficient, reliable, and compliant with MCS and manufacturers guidance.

What you’ll be doing as Heating System Design Engineer at Aira

• Pipe sizing, heat loss, radiator sizing, and noise assessment.
• Ensure our installations are compliant with planning regulations and MCS standards.
• Deliver schematic diagrams that effectively communicate installation requirements to installers.
• Support and work closely with installers.

What you'll need to have as Heating System Design Engineer at Aira

• Necessary qualifications, training, and experience to design high-quality air source heat pump installations for domestic properties.
• Level 2 / 3 Award in plumbing.

The following would be useful to have:

• Qualifications in system design such as Heat Geek Heating Mastery.
• Level 3 Award in installation and maintenance of air source heat pump systems.
• Level 3 Award in low-temperature heating and hot water systems in dwellings.
