Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support new product development and in–market product enhancements

• Create product concepts, estimates, and detailed 2D/3D designs using SolidWorks

• Ensure designs are ready for manufacturing, with emphasis on DFM (Design for Manufacturing)

• Generate and manage technical documentation, including drawings and BoMs

• Support testing, product validation, and implementation of design improvements

• Conduct competitor analysis and share insights with internal stakeholders

• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, QA, and Engineering teams

• Attend exhibitions and deliver technical training when needed

• Contribute to the design team's process improvement and patent opportunities

• Participate in and support regulatory audits (ISO, CE, WRAS, etc.)

Requirements:

Essential:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks 2D/3D CAD

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM

• Experience with BoM management, prototyping, and data analysis

• Ability to work across disciplines (electronics, firmware, software)

• Strong communication skills and ability to support internal/external stakeholders

Desirable:

• Experience in injection moulding design

• Basic skills in using machine tools (lathe, mill)
