Job Description:
A well-established manufacturer of poultry housing systems and equipment is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator to join their skilled fabrication team based in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, well-equipped workshop environment with a reputable and growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components.
* Fabricate custom and batch components from technical drawings.
* Use workshop tools and machinery such as grinders, saws, drills, and press brakes.
* Work to high standards of accuracy and finish.
* Assemble and fit welded components into final structures or systems.
* Inspect and test welds to ensure structural soundness and quality.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding (minimum 2 years preferred).
* Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
* Skilled in working with various sheet metal thicknesses.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
* Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
* NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in welding/fabrication (preferred but not essential).
