Position Purpose:

Under minimal supervision, oversees maintenance personnel ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental, and permit regulations. Manages all maintenance functions including preventative, corrective, and emergency repairs on plant equipment.

Key Job Activities:

• Maintain plant operations to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Conduct predictive analysis and update Preventative Maintenance schedules.
• Hire, train, and develop Maintenance Engineers; oversee contractors to ensure quality and safety.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and boiler systems.
• Manage the use of power tools and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.
• Provide frontline maintenance support during out-of-hours operations.

Education:

Associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.

Certifications/Licenses:

Preferred certifications include COSHH, IOSH, forklift, confined space, environmental permitting, emissions monitoring, and safety-related licenses.

Experience (EMEAA):

• At least five years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of power wiring, troubleshooting with multi-meters, and high-temperature process equipment is preferred.
• Experience with incinerators, boilers, turbines, and pollution control devices is advantageous.
• Experience managing equipment like forklifts, rigging, lockout/tagout, and pneumatic systems.

Certifications and Licenses:

Relevant safety and operational certifications as per job requirements.
