Customer Service Advisor - Permanent - Cambridge

Join our team as a Customer Service Advisor in Cambridge! This is a permanent, full-time role offering a unique opportunity to develop your career in local government.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will assist residents with a variety of queries, ranging from lost property to housing issues, in a fast-paced environment. The role involves face-to-face, telephone, email, and web chat support, with some in-person training at our Cambridge offices. The position requires resilience, empathy, and excellent communication skills, especially when dealing with customers facing difficult circumstances.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide help and advice to customers with diverse queries.
  2. Build relationships and take ownership of customer issues.
  3. Work collaboratively with other council services to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Candidate Profile
