Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm & Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm

About the Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with a proven track record of vision and leadership at a senior level, personal integrity, and a focus on delivering high-performing services and achieving excellent outcomes for the residents and communities of South Lanarkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and provide recommendations to the Board of SLLC in delivering leisure and culture services, especially those on behalf of South Lanarkshire Council.
  • Ensure high-quality, sustainable services including leisure facilities, cultural venues, libraries, attractions, festivals, events, and play and sports development services.
  • Promote healthy and active living and ensure access to leisure opportunities based on community needs.
Candidate Requirements
  • Strategic leadership experience in leisure and culture.
  • Experience working with partners to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification and professional accreditation.
