Permanent - 35 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm & Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm

As a leisure and cultural trust, our vision is to provide opportunities to enrich people's lives. We are seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead us forward.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven track record of vision and leadership at senior levels, personal integrity, and a strong focus on delivering high-performing services and achieving positive outcomes for the residents and communities of South Lanarkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and provide recommendations to the Board of SLLC as it delivers leisure and culture services, especially those on behalf of South Lanarkshire Council.
  • Ensure high-quality, sustainable services including indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, cultural venues, libraries, attractions, festivals, events, and sports development services.
  • Contribute to healthy and active living, ensuring local access to leisure and lifestyle opportunities based on community needs and expectations.
Candidate Profile
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership experience in leisure and culture sectors.
  • Experience working with partners to achieve high service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification, along with a professional qualification in the field.
