A part-time position is available for a professional Complex Care Support Worker to join a team providing 2:1 care and support to Winnie, an 18-year-old living in Stanmore. The role offers £18.80 gross per hour.
Winnie is a vibrant 18-year-old with a great sense of humor, who loves to laugh, have her hair and nails done, and explore hobbies like music, movies, and arts and crafts. She has Cerebral Palsy (GMFCS Level 5), scoliosis, and Dystonia, requiring oral suctioning, nebulisers, and a Gastrojejunostomy for nutrition, fluids, and medication. Winnie uses a wheelchair and communicates via switches. She lives in a fully adapted home in Stanmore with her mother and attends college.
The Complex Care Support Worker will assist Winnie with ADLs, health, and medical needs, promoting independence and exploring new interests. Training is provided, but prior experience in complex medical care is required. Collaboration with Winnie’s family and healthcare team is essential. Overtime is available if desired.
