There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top-up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum). This will be in place until the 2025/26 pay uplift is confirmed.

The role is based at Block 9 on the Royal Gwent Hospital site, with opportunities to work flexibly across all sites and remotely. You will be the Finance lead responsible for several Directorates within the surgery division. The Assistant Divisional Accountant will provide professional financial advice and support to budget holders within the Division/Locality/Directorate, contributing to achieving financial targets.
The post-holder will contribute to developing and implementing financial policies to meet the Health Board's financial objectives and be involved in the annual budget setting process and providing financial advice to interested parties.
