Community Housing Assistant – Commercial & Lettings

£24,242 - £26,364 per annum depending on skills

Full Time, Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Community Housing Assistant to join us on a 12-month FTC to support the Commercial and Lettings team in providing a friendly and efficient allocations service.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing administrative support to the team
  2. Being the first point of contact for customer enquiries
  3. Supporting the wider directorate when required

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Experience in a similar environment or a basic understanding of housing
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Experience working in challenging situations with multiple priorities
  • A good basic education including English and Maths qualifications, with confidence to communicate difficult decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
