The Role

My client is looking for an experienced systems application engineer to lead all technical aspects of engineering projects, including assessing customer requirements, developing customer hardware and software solutions, supporting customers, writing technical documentation, and troubleshooting.

You will currently have experience in solving technical customer problems, and leading teams.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the identification of technical enablers and deliver the proof-of-concept prototypes as required by our customers
• Lead the development of system validation plans and ensure our solutions meet the design specifications and requirements
• Ensure technical solutions are developed based on a clear understanding of the product and its relationship with the user.
• Successfully manage multiple projects at any one time, and meet challenging deadlines
• Chair application engineering technical design reviews - provide expert support and share relevant knowledge within the team

The Candidate

• Degree qualification in suitable discipline electronics/physics/robotics or relevant experience
• Working knowledge of product design from feasibility to production, including digital and analogue circuits, microprocessor circuits and PCB design
• Working knowledge and understanding of C, C++ programming languages and real-time operating systems
• Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance and regulatory compliance procedures for products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A customer-focused individual able to deliver on agreed expectations

The Package

The salary offered for this position is £60,000- £70,000 to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
