Job Title: Junior Shop Fit Project Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and driven Junior Shop Fit Project Manager who will grow with the company and contribute to our team. This field-based role involves managing shop fits across the North of England and Scotland. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Store Development and support the delivery of category performance objectives aligned with seasonal and global growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage planning and scheduling of all activities related to store setup, including construction, merchandising, and operational readiness.
  • Act as the main contact between the corporate team, contractors, vendors, and local store teams during rollouts.
  • Communicate project milestones, risks, and changes to stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and control project budgets within financial constraints.
  • Track and report on project expenditures, addressing variances as needed.
  • Identify potential risks or issues impacting timelines or budgets.
  • Develop and implement mitigation plans proactively to resolve problems.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Ensure quality control, compliance with standards, timelines, and regulations.
  • Oversee construction and fit-out processes, ensuring timely and specification-compliant completion.
  • Coordinate final walk-throughs and readiness checks before store handover.
  • Facilitate smooth store handovers, including training, systems setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and resolve issues to ensure a seamless customer and staff experience.
Candidate Profile
  • Excellent written communication skills, including copywriting and editing, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum of 2 years managing fit-out projects in a fast-moving retail environment.
  • Based in the North of England.
  • Agile, with the ability to deliver high standards on time.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and sound judgment under pressure.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel nationwide.
