Job Description Summary:

Job Title: Senior Sourcing Manager – M&A and Projects

Salary: £76,100pa to £106,400pa (dependent on location and experience) plus benefits

Location: Bristol, Halifax, Leeds, London, Edinburgh, Birmingham

Hours: 35 hours, full time

Working Pattern: Hybrid, with at least two days per week at listed hubs

The Consumer Products Sourcing Team within Consumer, Professional Services & Special Projects (C, PS & SP) Sourcing is on an exciting journey. The investments we are making are leading to innovative projects and new ways for our people to work, learn, and thrive.

This is a fantastic time of change within Lloyds Banking Group, and the Group Sourcing and Supplier Management (GS&SM) team is central to that change. You will play a lead role supporting 3rd party activity related to the group's M&A/divestment activities, including recent acquisitions like MBNA, Embark, and Tusker. You will be key in supporting pre- and post-deal activities and broader growth and sourcing opportunities.

About this opportunity

You will collaborate across Group Sourcing, GCD teams, project teams, and business units involved in acquisitions/divestments. You will also lead cross-functional teams supporting key growth opportunities.

Are you an experienced sourcing leader with knowledge of M&A, enthusiastic about developing strategic, bold, and ambitious agendas? Are you committed to self-development and supporting the business to improve how it works?

About you

  • Experience leading sourcing processes, leveraging economies of scale through contract negotiations and supplier selection.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders and influence business priorities.
  • Knowledge of 3rd party implications within an M&A environment.
  • Experience in 3rd party due diligence, data analysis, and preparing proposals for senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify best practices and respond to changing business environments to secure value.
  • Expertise in contractual terms and risk mitigation.
  • Track record of owning, reporting, and tracking financial benefits, risks, and opportunities.
  • Alignment with the vision and principles of Group Sourcing and Supplier Management.
