We are currently looking for a motivated and qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join our growing team, working across Orpington and surrounding regions. This role is ideal for someone early in their asbestos career, with at least 6–12 months of practical site experience, looking to develop their skills in a supportive, compliance-led environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Asbestos Surveys in accordance with HSG264 guidance.
• Collect samples of suspect asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) for laboratory analysis.
• Produce detailed, accurate reports with clear site drawings and material risk assessments.
• Comply with all relevant asbestos regulations, particularly the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012.
• Communicate effectively with clients, site personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained at all times.

Essential Qualifications & Certifications:

Applicants must hold the following BOHS or equivalent certifications:

• P402 – Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings
• (Preferably combined or progressing toward full P402/P403/P404 certification if interested in dual surveyor/analyst development)
• Equivalent RSPH Level 3 Award in Asbestos Surveying also accepted.

Understanding of or experience working under UKAS ISO/IEC 17020 standards is beneficial.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience carrying out asbestos surveys in domestic and/or commercial settings.
• Familiarity with industry documentation, such as HSG264 and CAR 2012.

• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data recording and reporting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Full UK driving license (essential) and willingness to travel to sites across the region.
