Your Responsibilities

• Own and direct teams performing technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
• Define project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
• Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and schedules.
• Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Establish quality assurance standards in design processes.
• Develop and manage the mechanical engineering capabilities within the practice.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Chartered or Fellow Mechanical Engineer.
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience in Mechanical Engineering within the Water Sector.
• Experience in managing design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, screens, chemical dosing plants, and familiarity with UK design standards and practices.
