IT Business Analyst Role

Hays are looking for an IT Business Analyst with Software Development Lifecycle experience across business applications, CRM, cyber, and general in-house applications.

Type: Permanent / Hybrid

Responsibilities:

1. Thorough understanding of the full analysis process, including:

• Defining scope
• Identifying project benefits
• Developing business cases
• Requirements elicitation and management
• Process optimization
• Business change management
• Requirements traceability to business benefits
• Input into testing
• Facilitating user acceptance testing
• Benefits realization

Work with the Lead BA/Project Manager to determine the analysis approach.

Take ownership of the analysis process.

Influence stakeholders and decision-making.

Facilitate large or complex group discussions.

Deliver presentations to senior management.

Identify and develop initiatives to improve business performance.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience as a BA, preferably in Legal, Finance, or IT fields.
• Self-motivated with enthusiasm for delivering value.
• Ability to produce high-quality documentation and presentation materials, including diagrams.
• Identify technical challenges and lead efforts to overcome them.
• Flexible and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Engage directly with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable:

• Experience with project delivery cycles and methodologies such as Agile.
• Experience working within a legal organization.
• Experience with large-scale business process change initiatives.
• Experience working with external suppliers, including offshore teams.
